DID YOU KNOW THAT SOME PADI COURSES ARE RECOGNIZED FOR EITHER COLLEGE OR HIGH SCHOOL CREDIT?

NOTE: All classes must be started within 1 year of purchase date and completed within 1 year of start date.

OPEN WATER DIVER

HIGH SCOOL CREDIT(S) =2

The Open Water Course is PADI’s main entry level certifying course. Upon completion of the course you will receive a certification card from PADI valid at dive stores and resorts worldwide. The course is made up of 5 class and pool sessions, and 4 ocean dives. The Open Water Course is presented in a convenient modular format, with class and pool sessions on evenings during the week and ocean dives on the weekend. The course is very flexible, and can be completed in two or three weeks or take as long as a year... it’s really up to you. Courses begin monthly.

Price includes all training materials and use of all required scuba equipment. (Take $50 off any course when you provide your own equipment) Call for current pricing.

Open Water Variations:

Dry Suit Training

We also offer the option to use a drysuit instead of a wetsuit for your two days of ocean diving. The upgrade cost also includes an additional evening of training, including a pool session, to learn how to properly care for and use the suit. Please note that module #5 must be completed prior to your drysuit training! The training session also enables you to rent drysuits from dive stores for future diving.

Tropical Referrals

Designed for those divers who wish to complete their class and pool sessions here, but prefer to do their ocean dives in a warmer climate. Because the PADI system is taught worldwide, you can complete your training anywhere in the world as long as it’s done through a PADI certified Instructor (please note that you will have to pay extra for the completion of your course at whatever rates the receiving resort has set). The course includes the first five class and pool sessions, as well as all the training materials, and SCUBA* equipment rentals. Alternately, if you are looking to complete your Open Water Certification here (you have been referred from a different PADI Instructor), and wish to complete your ocean dives, we can do that too! Courses are run in conjunction with the Open Water Course.

PADI ADVANCED

HIGH SCOOL CREDIT(S) =4

PADI Advanced is a weekend of pleasure diving that introduces divers to some of the more popular specialty areas of scuba diving.

There aren’t any academic sessions, besides an evening registration and tune up, where we’ll review relevant chapters from the Advanced Manual. There are a series of five dives in the Advanced Course (usually completed in one weekend), which include a Deep Dive, and an Underwater Navigation Dive, as well as three optional dives, usually a Night Dive, Wreck Dive, Search and Recovery Dive, Underwater Naturalist Dive or Drysuit Dive (the optional dives are decided by the instructor teaching the course with input from the students). Upon completion, you will receive a certification card stating that you are an Advanced Diver with a max. depth restriction of 100 ft. The course includes the use of all basic scuba gear (regs, BCD, wetsuit, weightbelt and tanks), and training materials. Students are required to provide their own personal gear (mask, snorkel, fins, boots and gloves), and ancillary equipment * (light, knife, compass, slate, and underwater beacon).

Price includes all training materials and use of all required scuba equipment. (Take $50 off any course when you provide your own equipment) Call for current princing.

PADI RESCUE DIVER

HIGH SCOOL CREDIT(S) =4

The next step for a PADI Advanced Diver is the Rescue Course. Here you’ll learn the skills that are needed to become more aware of yourself and your diving companions. The Rescue Course will teach you to effectively prevent problem situations and to deal with diving emergencies. This is arguably one of PADI’s best courses for increasing a diver’s self confidence.

Price includes all training materials and use of all required scuba equipment. (Take $50 off any course when you provide your own equipment) Call for current pricing.

PADI DIVEMASTER Course

The PADI Divemaster course is the first step in the professional realm of diving (can you imagine getting paid to go diving?). It teaches students the knowledge and skills to safely lead other certified divers, act as an assistant to PADI instructors, and even independently teach the PADI Discover Scuba program! The course involves knowledge development in the areas of dive physics, physiology, equipment, dive skills and the environment, decompression theory and the Recreational Dive Planner. There are also a series of waterskill assessments, dive skill development sessions, and in-water internships. The internships are the Divemaster candidates opportunity to work with our Instructors in a real setting where the prospective Divemaster comes to the pool and ocean with us to help new divers discover the thrill of diving! Students must have their Rescue Diver Certification, and a minimum of 20 logged dives.

Occupational Pre-requisite Program

This program is designed to ready divers for a career in the exciting field of COMMERCIAL DIVING and meets the pre-requisites for enrollment in commercial diver courses.

You will learn basic scuba skills, u/w navigation, dry suit diving techniques and deep diving skills. This program can be custom tailored to meet your schedule.

You will log at least 600 minutes of bottom time
